According to Yahoo News, Ole Miss has received a Notice of Allegations from the NCAA enforcement staff alleging roughly 30 violations in football, women’s basketball and track and field.

Ole Miss sources told ESPN’s Chris Low that they had been expecting a notice of allegations for some time.

The investigations of Ole Miss was first reported in October 2014.

It is not clear what violations Ole Miss has committed as the NCAA does not comment on current, pending or potential investigations

Yahoo is also reporting that “multiple SEC coaches and administrators have voiced concerns” to the SEC office about Ole Miss. The school has not yet commented on the matter.

Mississippi track & field finished 7th in last years SEC Championships.  The distance performances have improved tremendously the past few years after hiring Ryan Vanhoy in 2014.

We are all used to football and basketball violations.  Ole Miss has dominated in football recruiting the past few years and questions have followed.  But, track & field? There isn’t supposed to be scandal in college track & field.  We will no doubt know more in the coming days.
