Running man runs 11,000 miles

His journey started on August 14th 2014.  17 months later it has come to end.  Jamie Ramsay ran through 14 different countries while raising money and awareness for charity.

Down the west coast of the US. Through Mexico. South to Guatemala and Costa Rica. Into South America – Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, and finally Argentina.

All told – The equivalent of nearly 420 marathons.

“I am not going to lie that I am absolutely shattered and looking forward to my bed, but bizarrely I spent this morning looking up potential new expeditions for the future, though I will need girlfriend approval,” he told the Edinburgh News.

The British runner helped raise money for three charities: CALM, which is dedicated to preventing male suicide, as well as WaterAid and Macmillan.

He’s not quite done yet, though. After his return flight to the UK, Ramsay plans to finish the trip with a 15 mile run from Heathrow Airport in London to the Mall in central London.

Forest Gump has nothing on this guy.
